Altadena

In the foothills of the Angeles National Forest, this artistic area full of creative people is a place where you can get a little more land for your dollar while enjoying the amazing farmers market and cool community garden. It’s convenient to all the offerings of Pasadena, with quick access to beautiful hiking trails and great charter schools.

Atwater Village

Neighborhood pride is strong in Atwater where you’ll see lots of I [HEART] Atwater stickers. Walk or bike to any of the plentiful independent shops and restaurants. This is a small town inside a big place, offering quick surface-street access to Silver Lake, Glendale or Burbank.

Beachwood Canyon

Perched under the iconic Hollywood sign, this whimsical canyon is ripe with history, charm, and magic. Star studded streets with character homes nestled in a close knit community make Beachwood a beloved destination for all walks of life. The canyon hosts an array of hiking trails leading to the nearby Hollywood sign and Griffith observatory. Beachwood’s proximity to Los Feliz and the famous Greek Theatre as well as the Hollywood hustle make it the perfect sanctuary just steps away from the action.

Burbank

The land of Disney, ABC, NBC, and Warner Brothers, Burbank promises great schools, vintage shops, and cool eateries. From the oldest Bob’s Big Boy in America to the lines-out-the-door at Porto’s Bakery it’s not just for those in the entertainment business anymore.

Cypress Park

Tucked between hillsides and the west bank of the Los Angeles River and the 40-acre Rio de Los Angeles State Park, this neighborhood is a mix of small homes on tree-lined streets and mom & pop businesses and stands to benefit from the ongoing revitalization of the LA River and planned expansion of recreational facilities and parks. Easy access to all the great spots in Highland Park.

Eagle Rock

An easy place to live, this charming and incredibly walkable area has lots to offer adults and kids. The indoor playground, Peekaboo Playland, is a kid favorite, and the annual music festival is fun for everyone. With a very active community council, people take pride in Eagle Rock. It’s also a fun place for a curious palette: Four Café offers ingredients from local farmers markets and Little Beast Restaurant serves craft beer and wine in a charming craftsman bungalow.

Echo Park

Tucked away just west of downtown Los Angeles around a charming lake, this vibrant area is full of life. Great spots like the local organic grocers - Cookbook, and the chill coffeehouse FIX - point to the artistic bent here, while it still offers a taste of historic LA in its beautiful Victorians on Carroll Place. Echo Park is perfect for young professionals who want a quick commute to downtown.

El Sereno

Bordering Highland Park, South Pasadena, Alhambra, Montecito and Lincoln Heights, El Sereno is an unassuming neighborhood that's a short commute to DTLA and transit friendly via a number of freeways. El Sereno is a combination of flats and rolling hills with Cal State LA perched on its southern border.

Elysian Valley

Elysian Valley, also nicknamed Frogtown, is a small strip of neighborhood snugly located between the LA River and Elysian Hills. Bike to bike cafe Spoke, sandwiches at Wax Paper, margaritas or palomas & tacos at Salazar and catch at live music show at Zebulon. Easy to pop over to Atwater Village and Silver Lake.

Glassell Park

This up-and-coming spot just south of Mt. Washington is affordable, close enough to everything, has some beautiful new builds, a nice community pool, and the LA River Center. Do not miss the delicious breakfast place, Lemon Poppy!

Glendale

Glendale’s not just the valley, it’s very much part of northeast LA. With especially good schools—there are so many different language immersion programs—a lot of people are moving to Glendale. Look at Adams Hills or go up into the canyons for some beautiful finds.

Highland Park

This dynamic spot is considered one of the fastest gentrifying neighborhoods in LA. Look away for just a moment and you'll miss a new bar, restaurant, shop or yoga and exercise studio opening its doors. It offers newly flipped homes and affordable starter bungalows. From flea-market-style boutiques to a marionette theater to Hippo serving up Californian Italian cuisine, this place has style with a bit of grit.

Larchmont

This picturesque and tree-lined residential neighborhood is adjacent to Hancock Park and Wilshire Country Club. Larchmont Village is the heart, a small & charming street teeming with unique stores, stylish boutiques and delightful restaurants. Dine at all-day cafe Go Get Em Tiger before heading over to Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams or grab a sandwich and other makings for a picnic from family-owned Larchmont Village Wine.

Laurel Canyon

A culturally significant and geographically remote neighborhood tucked into the Hollywood Hills area of the Santa Monica mountains, Laurel Canyon has long been favored by celebrities and tastemakers for its natural beauty and magnetic eccentricities.

Los Feliz

Nestled west of Silver Lake, east of Hollywood, and south of expansive Griffith Park, Los Feliz is a beautiful spot with large homes. Enjoy a morning stroll to coffee on Vermont Ave. or to Trails Cafe in Griffith Park or yoga on Hillhurst. Easily pop over to Silver Lake, Hollywood, mid-city, or downtown. Or stay in the neighborhood for Italian at Little Dom’s.

Mount Washington

The stunning views and mountain living in Mt. Washington make for homes that feel like peaceful vacation getaways. Family-friendly and a bit more off the grid than surrounding areas, there’s still quick access to everything Highland Park and Eagle Rock have to offer.

Pasadena

Offering beautiful homes, unique gems like Kidspace Children’s Museum, a plethora of sub-neighborhoods, and an old town center with every store you’d ever need, Pasadena is an upscale spot. There are still bargains to be found: the Rose Bowl Flea Market and the Pasadena City College Flea Market are a mecca for interior design lovers all over town.

Silver Lake

Silver Lake has an eclectic feel, so much energy and so much to do. Walk around the reservoir, chill on a blanket at The Meadow, window shop and grab a coffee at Sunset Junction or meet friends for drinks & oysters at L&E. With so many restaurants and cafes, there's always something new to try.

South Pasadena

East of Highland Park and south of Pasadena proper, South Pasadena has incredible schools, gorgeous homes, a great library, lots of cafes and a lively farmer's market. With its charming Mission Street and small-town feel, South Pasadena is a sweet place.

Studio City

Located on the edge of the San Fernando Valley, just over the hill from the Hollywood bustle, Studio City is a charming neighborhood with tree-lined residential streets and dining options including several classic sushi spots and gastropubs. Stroll through Tujunga Village, a charming street with a collection of boutiques and all-day cafes or take the woodsy hiking trails to panoramic views in Wilacre Park.

West Hollywood

West Hollywood, lovingly referred to as WeHo, is a bright and lively central hub for all things culture in Los Angeles. Trendy, inclusive and fabulous, the neighborhood is home to world class shopping, dining and nightlife. From quiet tree lined streets to the fabled sunset strip, West Hollywood has something for everyone. Adored restaurants include Thai hot spot Night + Market, Italian favorite Jon + Vinny’s, Peruvian eatery Rosaline and classic late night spot Jones. Iconic hotels such as Sunset Tower, Chateau Marmont and The Edition call WeHo home. The Abbey and other noteworthy gay bars sprinkled throughout Santa Monica Blvd encompass the acceptance and celebration that beats at the heart of West Hollywood.
